The State University of Moldova is hosting Romania – Republic of Moldova Education Forum, starting Friday, May 17, under the title “Educational Ecosystem in the Digitalised World”, which brings together teachers from our country and Romania, as well as teachers from Ukraine, Serbia, Hungary. The central theme of the 4th edition is “The teacher facing the challenges of diversity in education.”
In his opening speech, the Rector of USM, Igor Sharov, underlined that this forum is becoming a strategic platform for education representatives from Romania and Moldova. Thus, participants can discuss the challenges and opportunities offered by the educational ecosystem in the era of digitalization and establish new good partnerships.
During the two days, the Romania-Republic of Moldova Education Forum will identify opportunities for strengthening partnerships between higher and general education institutions in the two countries. At the same time, there will be sessions with presentations, workshops, and masterclasses of school teachers, managers, educators, PhD students, and university professors from the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
The event aims to strengthen the links between the educational systems of Romania and Moldova by highlighting the contents of school curricula and personalities in the field, involving actions to raise awareness of belonging to the Romanian identity.

The General Association of Teachers of Romania, Moldova Branch, the State University of Moldova, “Alexandru Iona Cuza” University of Iasi, Romanian Literacy Association, with the financial support of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova of the Romanian Government organized the Romania – Republic of Moldova Education Forum.
