Eligible voters who changed their place of residence since the last elections must report their new address to the city hall or district office to ensure correct registration in the electoral list.
“The Central Electoral Commission informs that eligible voters who changed their place of residence after the last elections can declare their new address at the local public administration office (city hall or district office) so the electoral authorities can register them in the basic electoral list at the polling station corresponding to the new residence,” stated the CEC.
“This procedure ensures the voter appears in the electoral list based on the new residence, with the note ‘Declaration of residence’ added in the ‘Note’ section. At the same time, the system will automatically remove the voter from the electoral list corresponding to the previous permanent or temporary address,” the CEC added.

When submitting the declaration, the voter must present a valid ID for confirmation. The registrar will update the State Voter Register and issue a receipt confirming the new address declaration.
The deadline for submitting declarations is no later than 25 days before election day, which is September 3, 2025, inclusive. The declaration remains valid for a single election only.
Authorities remind voters that previous declarations submitted for earlier elections no longer apply.
Parliamentary elections will take place on September 28, 2025.
