The service negligence file remains hidden in drawers one year after the attack at Chisinau International Airport, which caused the lives of two people. Rosian Vasiloi’s lawyer has requested the lifting of the exception regarding the unconstitutionality of a text in Article 329 of the Penal Code, which prevents the case from being examined in court yet.
Representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed the Realitatea editorial that the defender contested certain criminal prosecution actions. The magistrates from Chisinau Court, Ciocana office, accepted the lawyer’s request.
The Constitutional Court and the investigating judge will provide a solution that will lead to a decision about the case, per the prosecutors.
“In the investigation framework, initiated based on the reasonable suspicion of committing the offense provided for in Article 329 para. (2) letter a) of the Penal Code (service negligence), the case was initiated with the hearing of witnesses and the presentation of significant documents.
