The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will meet on Thursday, November 10, in Chisinau with President Maia Sandu. The announcement was made by the deputy chief representative and the director of political communication of the European Commission, Dana Spinant.
According to her, the objective is to emphasize our support for the European Union for Moldova, “one of the countries most affected by the consequences of the illegal war carried by Russia against Ukraine.”
We recall that the President of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, announced on November 6 that he will pay a visit to the Republic of Moldova in the middle of this week.
We mention that Ursula von der Leyen and Maia Sandu last saw themselves in September when the 77th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), New York, USA took place.
