The President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, was decorated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise. The announcement was made by the speaker on Facebook.
“Honored to be decorated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise. I received this distinction from my Ukrainian counterpart, Ruslan Stefanchuk, at the Conference of Parliamentary Presidents in Dublin. I assured President Stefanchuk that the Republic of Moldova will continue to stand with our neighbors and friends in Ukraine because Ukraine’s victory is the victory of the free world,” wrote Igor Grosu.
