The Government of the Republic of Moldova is set to sign an agreement with France aimed at bolstering cooperation in the field of defense. A decision to this effect is scheduled to be approved at the next Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
According to the document, both parties will engage in knowledge exchange initiatives. Moldovan military personnel may have the opportunity to study the French language, while Paris will provide support for the reform of Moldova’s armed forces.
The project also outlines collaboration in the areas of training, education, research, international missions, and operations, as well as air space control and management.
Additionally, the Republic of Moldova and France will cooperate in the realm of military medicine. To facilitate the implementation of these cooperation projects, a joint Moldovan-French commission will be established.
