Moldovan Citizens Evacuated from Gaza with Approval from Israel and Egypt

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) has received the necessary approvals from Israeli and Egyptian authorities to evacuate Moldovan citizens from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, as reported by MOLDPRES.

“The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv has informed Moldovan citizens about the required procedures, and their evacuation to Egypt is set to take place today, in compliance with security requirements,” stated MFAEI.

Currently, a consular officer dispatched by the MFAEI is present at the Rafah crossing, where they will receive and provide the necessary consular assistance to the evacuated citizens.

In total, 51 Moldovan citizens in the Gaza Strip have requested assistance, including evacuation.
