The first Moldovans voted in the presidential and referendum elections. The country where the envelopes of their choice came from

The first Moldovan citizens have already voted in the presidential election and referendum. They are two compatriots from Canada, according to government spokesman Daniel Voda.

“They have sent sealed envelopes to the polling stations set up at the embassy. (…) The first voters who chose to vote by mail were from Canada. The envelopes are expected at the polling stations for postal voting until Thursday, October 17, at 18:00”, revealed Daniel Voda.

Authorities began sending the postal voting envelopes to recipients on Saturday, October 5. They will reach the almost 2000 citizens who chose to vote by post.
