The new members of the Moldovan government took their oaths of office today in a ceremony attended by President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
The ceremony began with the national anthem of the Republic of Moldova. President Maia Sandu wished the newly appointed ministers success in their roles.
Vladimir Bolea has been appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development. Ludmila Catlabuga, an entrepreneur from Soroca and current executive director of the Association of Dairy Farmers in Moldova, will serve as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.

Daniela Misail-Nichitin, the current State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will take over as Minister of Internal Affairs.
The government reshuffle was announced yesterday evening by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, following extensive consultations.
These changes align with Maia Sandu’s earlier electoral promises to restructure the government team before the end of the year, should she be re-elected president.
After the second round of the presidential election, Prime Minister Dorin Recean confirmed plans for policy adjustments and government changes, emphasizing that “the citizens who voted made it clear that certain changes are necessary.”
The cabinet led by Dorin Recean was sworn in on February 16, 2023.
