Last week, the U.S. Embassy in Moldova proudly sponsored a delegation of Moldovan police officers, prosecutors, and judges for a specialized Cybercrime and Child Exploitation Investigations Course at the U.S.-funded International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Budapest.
Led by experts from the FBI, this intensive five-day training focused on equipping participants with advanced investigative techniques aimed at combating online child exploitation. The course equipped participants with in-depth knowledge of identifying offenders, preventing abuse, and using cutting-edge methods to tackle cyber-enabled crimes against children.
In addition to enhancing technical expertise, the training emphasized the importance of collaboration and international partnerships. Moldovan officials strengthened their relationships with law enforcement agencies from other countries, fostering an exchange of knowledge and best practices.
