Athletes Dinu Belevac, Elizaveta Hlusovici, and Mihail Carpov will represent our country at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Borjomi-Bakuriani, Georgia. The event will take place from February 9 to 16, 2025.
“At the European Youth Olympic Festival in Borjomi-Bakuriani, Georgia, scheduled for February 9-16, 2025, the Republic of Moldova will be represented by three athletes in two disciplines: Dinu Belevac and Elizaveta Hlusovici (both in biathlon) and Mihail Carpov (cross-country skiing). They will be accompanied by coaches Nadejda Bria and Sveatoslav Maliutin,” stated a press release from the National Olympic and Sports Committee.

Dinu Belevac and Mihail Carpov also competed in the Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon, held from January 19 to February 1, 2024. Additionally, Elizaveta Hlusovici participated in the 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championship and secured 3rd place in the junior sprint 6 km event at the Balkan Championship.
