On Friday, July 29, the Republic of Moldova signed contracts for the supply of electricity with the Ukrainian operators Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo. The announcement was made by the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spînu.
Thus, for 20% of the purchase, a contract was concluded with the Energoatom company, at the price of 77 USD/MWh;
For 10% of the purchase, a contract was concluded with Ukrhydroenergo, at the price of 77 USD/MWh;
70% of the country’s needs are delivered according to the contract signed with MGRES at the price of 59.9 USD/MWh, for the months of July-August.
The weighted average price for August is $65.03/MWh. The electricity tariff for citizens and the economy remains unchanged.
