Igor Dodon has promised to make “very detailed and interesting” statements in court. The leader of the Socialists made the remark while speaking to the press when journalists asked him about the case commonly known as the “kuliok” case.

Dodon said that the court has scheduled four more hearings in the case. Judges are currently hearing witnesses, after which he expects to testify personally before the Supreme Court of Justice of Moldova.

“It will be very detailed and interesting. I will reveal a lot of things, including matters related to the current government,” Dodon said.

The “kuliok” case centers on the transfer of a black bag concealed inside a calendar from Vlad Plahotniuc to Igor Dodon. The incident occurred while Dodon was serving as President of the Republic of Moldova. Investigators suspect that the package contained money.
