The Chisinau Court of Appeal Center has suspended the activities of several political parties associated with Ilan Shor. The measure applies to the political formations “Moldova Mare,” “Forța de Alternativă și de Salvare a Moldovei” (Force of Alternative and Salvation of Moldova), and “Renaștere” (Revival).

According to IPN, the activity of “Moldova Mare” has been suspended for 12 months, while “Forța de Alternativă și de Salvare a Moldovei” and “Renaștere” will have their activities restricted for six months.

In the case of the “Șansă” (Chance) party, the Chișinău Court of Appeal Center ordered the dissolution of the political formation.

“Forța de Alternativă și de Salvare a Moldovei,” “Renaștere,” and “Șansă” are parties associated with Ilan Shor.

The “Moldova Mare” party was founded by former anticorruption prosecutor Victoria Furtună, who promotes narratives about an alleged distinct identity between Moldovans and Romanians. The formation has previously been described as a “satellite” of political organizations coordinated by Ilan Shor and has been accused of receiving financing from Russia.
