A new information poster has been inaugurated in Mihai Eminescu Square in the capital. Equipped with a solar panel and autonomous lighting, it is designed to provide information in an environmentally friendly way. This initiative aims to digitise the city. The municipality has announced that this is the first pedestrian display of its kind in Chisinau.
“By scanning the QR code, you will be redirected to the digital map (http://TravelAnt.org) that displays your current location and all the attractions in the Chisinau area. This interactive platform provides information on all the points of interest in the city, such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, historical and cultural sights, as well as leisure centres, parks, and youth centres,” officials say.

The project was initiated by Chisinau City Hall, the Visit Chisinau platform, and the TravelAnt team.
