Charles Michel, President of the European Council, has arrived at the Presidential Palace in Chișinău, where he will hold a press conference alongside Maia Sandu, the President of Moldova. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
During his visit to Moldova, Michel is also expected to meet with Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Speaker Igor Grosu. While his arrival was already known in the media on Monday morning, the Presidency only confirmed and announced details after 8 p.m.
The topics to be discussed by the officials have not been announced yet. The statements of the President and the head of the European Council will be broadcast live on rlive.md and RLIVE TV.
Before coming to Chișinău, Charles Michel visited Romania, where he met and discussed with President Iohannis and Prime Minister Ciucă.
