“For our country, the tragedy of the Jewish people, the Roma, and all others who suffered on this land during the Holocaust will forever be a deep wound. A collective effort worldwide is needed to ensure that hatred, bigotry, and prejudice no longer take root, as they are the sources of evil that transform into monstrous crimes,” President Sandu stated in her message during the commemoration rally.
