The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) MP, Marcela Nistor, proposes the launch, for the first time in Moldova, of cultural vouchers for young people.
According to the PAS Youth Organization, the deputy is currently working on this legislative initiative, which will be announced soon.
“Every young person, at the age of 16, will receive the amount of 1000 lei from the government, to go to concerts, theaters, museums. It is, in fact, a new mechanism to finance culture and to motivate concert and theater institutions to diversify their repertoire”, announcement the PAS Youth Organization.
It should be noted that such a practice is found in Romania, where pupils and students benefit from cultural cards, which are supplied with a certain amount of money and can be used only to buy tickets to theater, museum, exhibitions, concerts, etc.
