The police have drawn up more than 26,000 administrative offense reports related to electoral corruption, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin stated during the “Rezoomat” program on RLIVE TV.
She explained that although some cases have been dismissed, the majority of the administrative proceedings remain valid.
“We also have cases that were dismissed, but most of them remain in force. And if we refer to the situations documented by the police, we are talking about more than 26,000 cases,” said Daniella Misail-Nichitin.
The minister emphasized that these administrative cases demonstrate the authorities’ efforts to prevent and penalize illegal attempts to influence the vote.
