Starting September 15, voters in the Republic of Moldova can request a mobile ballot box to participate in the parliamentary elections on September 28, 2025. Requests must be submitted in writing and may also be delivered by family members or a social assistant.
Applications can be filed two weeks before election day and until 14:00 on election day itself. If the request is submitted on election Sunday, it must be accompanied by a medical certificate.
The request must include the voter’s identification details, the reason for requesting the mobile ballot box, and, if applicable, the person designated to submit it. The application must be accompanied by an identity document and supporting papers, such as a medical certificate.

Requests may also be electronically signed and sent via e-mail to the local electoral bureau. On election day, electoral officials will visit citizens who have submitted applications, bringing the mobile ballot box and all necessary voting materials.
