The Ukrainian Security Service has subpoenaed the Tiraspol Foreign Minister, Vitaly Ignatiev, alleging suspicions of treason. As per the Official Monitor of the neighboring country, Ignatiev, who holds Ukrainian citizenship, is under investigation.
The “Ziarul National” has reported that Kyiv authorities harbor additional concerns about his alleged collaboration with the “aggressor state,” referring to the Russian Federation. So, the Tiraspol official must report to the Ukrainian security representative office in Vinnytsia, where he will face charges. Notably, Ignatiev serves as Tiraspol’s chief negotiator in the ongoing Transnistrian conflict settlement process.
