Energocom has begun procuring natural gas for the Transnistrian region under the directive of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) issued on February 1.
According to this decision, Energocom will acquire natural gas on European exchanges, ensuring that daily consumption does not exceed 3 million cubic meters. The purchased gas will enter Moldova’s national network, managed by Vestmoldtransgaz, before reaching Tiraspoltransgaz.
“Energocom will supply energy resources to consumers on the left bank of the Dniester. This initiative builds on the company’s experience in recent years, during which it registered on regional exchanges and imported gas and electricity through various routes and sources, strengthening the country’s energy independence,” the company stated.
