The best 5 startups from the Clean Technology Innovation Program for SMEs Start-ups in the Republic of Moldova project were awarded at the Moldova Eco Energy Gala, organized by the Agency for Energy Efficiency. The organizers of the competition proposed to support the most important initiatives in the production, transmission, distribution and efficient consumption of energy, in the implementation, development and promotion of modern technologies, as well as innovations in the field.
This year’s winners are:
- Energy efficiency: Zahari Dolomanji, the project “EVECO Construction” – the technology of houses made of wooden panels, filled with reeds, plaster of clay and straw and aims at the construction of ecological houses.
- Renewable energy: Varvarici Vladimir, the project “Energy efficiency by placing photovoltaic panels on the water retention tank” – creation of the centralized water irrigation system;
- Water efficiency: Natalia Dorofeev, “Eco Car Wash” project – technologies and solutions to make the water management process as efficient as possible, with the aim of producing renewable energy.
- Green buildings: Maxim Vladimir, the project “Green buildings – the future of the development of the production process using various renewable resources” – the construction of ecological buildings, using various recyclable materials with an impact on carbon emissions and climate change.
- Green transport: Sever Bolokan, the “Spam Carsharing” project – the initiative proposes to help the city improve the environmental situation by reducing gasoline consumption, exhaust gas emissions and implementing the carsharing service.
