The members of the Budget Committee of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany, had a meeting yesterday, October 24, with the Vice-President of the Parliament, Mihai Popșoi, and several deputies from the PAS Parliamentary Fraction.
One of the most important topics addressed was the energy crisis Moldova is facing.
“To support the population in this situation, we offer compensation. That’s why we need the help of external partners. We are grateful for the support received, because it also helps us to maintain macro-financial stability”, said the Vice-President of the Parliament, Mihail Popșoi.
The officials also discussed the security situation in the region and the adherence to the European Union.
“We remain focused on justice reform and fighting corruption. At the same time, we are focusing on the European path, after the Republic of Moldova received the candidate status”, added Mihail Popșoi.
The members of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany expressed their openness to provide our country with support to overcome the current crises.
