The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Hellenic Republic, Andrei Popov, announced that Greece intends to open an embassy in Chișinău. According to Popov, Greece has officially notified about this decision.
“At last – Greece has officially notified about the decision to open an Embassy in Chișinău!” announced Popov on social media.
He added that he had “a very productive discussion with Konstantinos Fragogiannis, the Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Cooperation, during which we followed up on several agreed-upon topics from the May meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission.”
“I especially thanked him for the Greek authorities’ decision to open an Embassy in Chișinău, a step that will undoubtedly contribute to advancing bilateral partnership,” communicated Popov.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the “next goal is to resume direct flights between Chișinău and Athens.”
