Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean came with congratulatory messages for the citizens of Moldova on New Year’s Eve.
On his official Facebook account, Igor Grosu wrote the following message.
“Happy New Year, dear friends! Let’s spend this year gratefully for all that has been good with the Republic of Moldova. May 2024 be a year of hope and well-being. Happy Birthday, Moldova!” the official wrote.

A congratulatory message was also published on Facebook by Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
“Dear citizens, 2023 has been a year full of trials and challenges, but we are ending it with a historic achievement – the start of negotiations for accession to the European Union.
2024 will be a decisive year in which each of us will have to give more. We continue to work to build Europe at home for a European, prosperous, and secure Moldova. As we move into 2024, let us enjoy our time with our loved ones and appreciate the peace and achievements of this year for our country through the contribution of each of us.
