The President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, met with the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkeviks.

” It was pleasing to see Edgars Rinkeviks again, this time serving as the President of Latvia. During his tenure as Latvian Foreign Minister, I had positive communication with Mr Rinkeviks. Throughout the process, we have received full support in our journey, from obtaining candidate country status to opening negotiations for Moldova’s accession to the European Union. Latvia’s experience will assist us in making the necessary reforms to bring us closer to the EU and enhance our connection to Europe,” the Moldovan official posted on his Facebook page.
