Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu met today with the Special Representative of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly for Eastern Europe, Kristian Vigenin, who is visiting our country and reports to the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Parliament.
During the discussion, the speaker reiterated that the Moldovan authorities continue to rely on the experience and expertise of our partners for free and fair elections.
“We are investing in strengthening the capacities of institutions such as the CEC, the BCC, and the Centre for Strategic Communication and Fight against Disinformation. In the 2023 local elections, the Russian Federation, together with criminal groups, tried to compromise the elections through voter corruption and propaganda. But the people’s voice was stronger, and the pro-European parties won,” said Igor Grosu.
