The priorities of the parliamentary agenda for the spring session were discussed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, at the meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union in Chisinau, Janis Mazeiks.
The officials discussed reforms in the fields of justice, education, economy, and environment. “We have set a higher speed because we want to fulfill the legislative program we have drawn up for 2024, which is quite complex,” the Speaker assured.
The head of the legislature also said that the Republic of Moldova is evaluating the national legislation with that of the European Union, and the authorities hope that the negotiating framework for our country will be adopted by the EU Council as soon as possible.

“The Republic of Moldova enjoys unprecedented openness on the part of EU member countries, and we will work to build on this friendship and further deepen bilateral dialogue,” the Speaker added.
In this context, Igor Grosu expressed his gratitude for all the support provided by the EU through various projects that modernize Moldova’s villages and towns, improve people’s lives, and projects strengthen state institutions, thus making our country stronger.
