After delivering essential goods for the accommodation of refugees in Ukraine and financial support worth 10 million euros, Italy donated four fire engines to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (IGSU).

The ceremony dedicated to the donation of the humanitarian assistance lot was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Serghei Diaconu, the Italian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, E.S. Lorenzo Tomassoni and the head of IGSU, Colonel Alexandru Oprea.

The vehicles arrived in Chisinau and are to be redistributed to the subdivisions of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in the country, especially those covering the border areas.
