Lavrov Warns of Hybrid War on Moldova, MAEIE Calls for Immediate Russian Troop Withdrawal

The head of Kremlin diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov, has issued new warnings regarding the Republic of Moldova. He stated that our country will become a victim of the West’s hybrid war against Russia.

According to Lavrov, the Transnistrian conflict could have been resolved through the Kozak Memorandum, but NATO and the European Union did not allow the signing of the document. In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) issued a statement insisting once again on the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from our country.

“Among the thwarted attempts to solve continental problems in accordance with the principles of the OSCE is the Kozak Memorandum, which could have resolved the situation in Moldova 20 years ago. NATO and Brussels shamelessly halted the document signed by Chisinau and Tiraspol at that time, and now they are killing the 5+2 format, everything that remained in the process of resolving the Transnistrian conflict. Moldova will be the next victim of the West’s hybrid war against Russia,” said Sergei Lavrov at the OSCE meeting in Skopje.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration immediately came out with a message stating, “The Republic of Moldova is irreversibly moving towards the European path, and today, more than ever, insists on the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from its territory.”
