The European Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Johannes Hahn, was decorated by Maia Sandu. The official received the “Order of Honour” of the Republic of Moldova.
The award was gratitude for the significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union. The government in Chisinau appreciated the support for the European path and the promotion of Moldova’s interests within the EU institutions, as well as the substantial support provided to strengthen Moldova’s economic resilience, according to the EU Delegation.
Johannes Hahn is on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova. The Commissioner commemorated the victims of the Second World War and is due to hold joint press statements with the Head of State.
