Maia Sandu’s message on Ukraine’s independence day

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, congratulated the Ukrainian people, on their Independence Day.

“On Independence Day of Ukraine, we admire the courage and defiance of the people – defenders of their home and fighters for freedom, independence and democracy. You are an inspiration to future generations. We stand with you and wish you peace and prosperity. Happy Independence Day,” Sandu wrote on social media.
