The Moldovan Foreign Minister, Mihai Popsoi, met with Olga Stefanishyna, the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, in Kyiv.
” We discussed the steps that the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine are taking to join the European Union, the progress being made in bringing legislation up to European standards, and the reforms being implemented in our countries. We discussed the potential use of assistance and expertise instruments by the European Commission to enhance the institutional capacities of the bodies responsible for the European integration of Moldova and Ukraine,” reads the press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
