Chisinau’s Minister of Defense, Anatolie Nosatîi, shook hands with the Romanian ambassador before leaving for Bucharest to attend trilateral meetings between the defense ministers of Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine. The two officials discussed the excellent cooperation between the two nations in the field of defense, highlighting Romania’s unwavering support in enhancing Moldova’s defense capabilities.
Cristian Leon Țurcanu, the Romanian ambassador, noted the importance of the strong partnership between Bucharest and Chisinau, especially in the complex process of fortifying Moldova’s defense capabilities. This meeting is a testament to the continued collaboration between the two countries and their commitment to promoting security in the region.
Minister Nosatîi, along with his Romanian counterpart, Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă, and Ukraine’s Andriy Taran, will participate in the Conference for Security in the Black Sea region on April 12-13. The trilateral meeting aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of defense, promote regional security and stability, and address common challenges and threats.
In addition, Nosatîi will be a guest on the “Rezoomat” show with Ileana Pîrgaru on Monday evening. The show will be broadcast on RLIVE TV and rlive.md at 8:00 pm. This will be an opportunity for the Minister to further discuss the importance of cooperation in the field of defense between Moldova and its neighboring countries.
