Moldova is seeking to borrow 100 million from the IBRD to construct roads. Spinu has announced priority routes

Moldova will negotiate the signing of two agreements. One agreement is for a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and the other is for financing from the International Development Association. The money will be used to improve customs infrastructure and roads.

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) has approved a loan of €100 million. The loan will be used to build access roads and modernise border crossings at Giurgiulesti, Leuseni and Ungheni.

“The project’s implementation will improve the roads in the villages, enhance border crossing with Romania, and enhance emergency preparedness,” Andrei Spinu said at the cabinet meeting.
