“Through this platform, we received significant support last year in managing the refugee and energy crises, stabilizing our country’s budget and finances, and bringing us closer to the EU. Today, we will again discuss how our partners will continue supporting the Republic of Moldova. Our ongoing actions will focus on supporting the Republic of Moldova in the medium and long term and supporting our accession to the EU,” stated Vice Prime Minister Nicu Popescu.

The French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna, emphasized that Moldova must be assisted by its partners in facing its challenges.
Today, in Chișinău, the fourth meeting of the Support Platform for Moldova is taking place. The event is attended by representatives from over 30 countries and dozens of international and financial organizations who have come together to mobilize the necessary assistance in three main directions for the development of the Republic of Moldova – budgetary support, the establishment of an Infrastructure Fund, and the creation of a residential fund for energy efficiency.
