The Public Property Agency (APP) has signed a contract for the purchase of the services of an independent financial and legal audit of the Moldovagaz debt to “Gazprom” and Factoring-Finance.
Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrey Spinu reported this on a social media.
The audit will be conducted by the companies Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma AS from Norway and Forensic Risk Alliance & Co from Great Britain. They undertook to complete the audit by January 30, 2023, reports Realitatea.md.
Spinu noted that the contract was concluded in the course of direct negotiations based on the order of the Emergency Situations Commission dated 13 July.

In October, the authorities of the Republic of Moldova agreed with “Gazprom” to extend the contract for the supply of gas under the condition of conducting an audit of the debts of the company “Moldovagaz” in 2022.
