Citizens can now schedule services from various public institutions through the EVO application, eliminating the need for additional visits and waiting times. The Economic Development and Digitalization Ministry and the Electronic Governance Agency announced the launch of a new scheduling module within the EVO application today.
The scheduling module integrates with the national platform, www.programari.gov.md. It initially offers 15 services from three public institutions: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (12 services across 32 embassies and consulates), the National Archives Agency (two services), and the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (one service across two bureaus).
Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba stated that the list of service providers will expand. “This module offers a new benefit to citizens, simplifying their lives and saving time. We are committed to rethinking how citizens interact with the state and are taking determined steps. As we complete integrations, we will expand the list of services. Ultimately, we aim for every citizen to easily schedule public services and manage their interactions with the state anytime, anywhere, directly through their phone, via EVO,” Alaiba said.
The EVO application provides access to digital documents, information about citizens and businesses, and the ability to make payments for various services. Citizens need an electronic signature to access all of EVO’s functionalities.
