Moldovan grain exports have increased considerably

In the first eight months of 2022, the share of grain exports constituted 13% of the total deliveries of goods from the Republic of Moldova, the equivalent of 384.6 million dollars, writes Agroexpert.

Between January and August this year, exports of cereals and cereal-based preparations increased 2.6 times, while imports increased by 56.7%.

The increase in grain exports, according to experts, is due to the re-exports of Ukrainian grains, which arrive in Romanian ports, to be delivered to other markets.
