Parliament reviewed the National Accession Plan for 2025–2029. Rodica Crudu, State Secretary of the Government for European Integration, presented the document at a working session. She outlined the drafting stages, structure, key provisions, and core objectives of the program. MPs, Parliament Secretariat officials, and members of the working groups involved in drafting the plan participated in the discussions.
The National Accession Program serves as the primary document for planning and monitoring the commitments made during accession negotiations. It defines priorities, actions, timelines, and resources required to align national legislation with the EU acquis. It also outlines measures to adapt national institutions to the administrative structures of the European Union. The document includes normative actions for EU acquis alignment (Annex A) and actions for implementation and administrative capacity building (Annex B).
“This plan is both ambitious and realistic. European Union integration remains our country’s top priority. Thursday’s announcement that the EU will provide €1.8 billion in financial support is a strong signal that encourages us to accelerate our accession efforts,” said Doina Gherman, Vice-President of Parliament.

“This is Moldova’s key strategic planning document for European integration. Careful planning, diligence, and fairness will help us progress and join the European family. We have already achieved unprecedented results. Now, we must maintain the same level of quality and commitment,” added Rodica Crudu, State Secretary of the Government for European Integration.
Officials will review and consider participants’ opinions and proposals when finalizing the document. Authorities are consulting the National Accession Plan for 2025–2029 with civil society, economic and academic experts, and private sector representatives. The plan will then undergo endorsement and promotion before the Government reviews it.
