National Library hosts an exhibition dedicated to European literature

The National Library of Moldova on March 25 celebrates the second edition of the Day of European Authors with a thematic exhibition, IPN reports.

The exhibition entitled “Contemporary European Authors in the Collections of the National Library” was mounted to promote European cultural values and principles through reading in the Republic of Moldova. It presents the authors-holders of the European Union Prize for Literature, European writers who are 21st century Nobel Laureates, as well as writers from the Republic of Moldova, qualified for European awards, translations into modern languages, editions published on the meridians of the world.

The Day of European Authors celebrates European literature and encourages interest in reading. It inspires younger generations to explore the richness of European literature. It also promotes linguistic diversity in Europe.

The exhibition staged in the central block of the library is open to the public until April 30.
