All our partners are already preparing for a long war in Ukraine, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu. According to him, every government is responsible to take into account existing risks and possible negative scenarios, even if the evolution of events will be positive. The statements were made during the show “Новая неделя”, informs tv8.md.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that today, many fear that the war will be long and will not end in 2023.
“The risks of the continuation of the war are very high. This does not mean that there will be large-scale changes in the state of the front line. But until an agreement is reached between the parties to stop hostilities, the war continues. Many negative effects persist across the spectrum of problems. Now, all our partners have already spread the psychological, administrative, and political planning and preparation for the fact that the war can last a relatively long time”, mentioned Nicu Popescu.
Yesterday, January 11, 2023, 322 days have already passed since Russia invaded Ukraine.
“But in fact, it doesn’t really matter how accurate our analysis will be regarding the ability to predict the evolution of events because every government is responsible to prepare for any scenarios, positive and negative,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs from Chisinau.
