President of Romania Nicusor Dan arrives today in Chisinau for his first official visit since taking office. The Moldovan Presidency emphasized that the visit “reconfirms the profound and special nature of bilateral relations—built on historical, cultural, and linguistic ties—and reflects the shared commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation for the benefit of citizens on both sides of the Prut River.”
The visit schedule includes:

- 3:10 p.m. — Joint press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu
- Until 4:00 p.m. — Meeting with Moldovan Olympic students
- 4:30 p.m. — Public meeting at the Stephen the Great and Holy monument, open for citizens to engage with President Dan (announcement made by the ruling party)
