The head of state assured the diplomat that Moldova continues to be with the Ukrainian people in the fight for democracy and freedom. The two mentioned that today we also have to fight propaganda and disinformation and that we must not allow ourselves to be lied to and manipulated by those who justify the war. At the same time, there was a discussion about security challenges and how things might evolve in the coming months.
The presidency also announces that on Friday evening, starting at 19:00, the lighting of the building will be disconnected, as in the case of the Parliament and the Government. Thus, Moldova joins the European #LightUpUkraine campaign, through which we express our solidarity with the neighboring country.
