The National Alternative Movement (MAN) delegation, headed by President Ion Ceban, is currently participating in the Council of Europe’s Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Strasbourg.
“Together with colleagues from CALM, we are participating in the launch of the 46th session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. We have scheduled several meetings where we will discuss the problems of Local Public Authorities in our country,” Ion Ceban noted.
On Facebook, Ion Ceban reported that the MAN delegation has prepared several reports covering various areas. These include the current situation of local public administrations in Moldova, financial pressures and economic bottlenecks faced by the municipality of Chisinau, as well as the situation of reforms in the country, including the justice system.
“During the visit, we have several scheduled meetings and discussions. As Vice President of CALM and Mayor General of the Capital, I have prepared several reports in various areas. This participation is a crucial measure in enhancing international relations and promoting democracy and European values in the Republic of Moldova,” said the President of MAN.

During the event, Ion Ceban presented CALM’s position and discussed the situation at home with European partners to promote the development of Local Public Authorities and the welfare of citizens.
