The Mayor of the Capital, Ion Ceban, met today, September 5th, with the Polish official Piotr Borys. During the discussions, the officials had a productive conversation focused on opportunities for collaboration in the tourism and sports sectors.
“In Poland, I met with the Secretary of State from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Piotr Borys. We had a productive discussion, and I invited our colleagues to visit Chisinau and the Republic of Moldova. Together, we could carry out certain projects,” the mayor stated.
Ion Ceban also added that Chisinau has developed the local tourism sector by launching several municipal projects in collaboration with specialized institutions.

“In a short time, my colleagues will meet with representatives from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism in Poland to discuss the details and proposals,” the official added.
