Prime Minister Dorin Recean is set to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos from January 16 to 18. According to the Government’s Communication Department, the head of the Executive will engage in a series of bilateral meetings with heads of governments and states to advocate for the economic agenda of the Republic of Moldova.
The Prime Minister’s schedule at Davos includes meetings with his counterparts from the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov, the Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana KriÅ¡to, and the Prime Minister of Liechtenstein, Daniel Risch. Additionally, the Moldovan Prime Minister will discuss with the President of Lithuania, Gitanas NausÄ—da, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The Forum’s platform will provide an opportunity to address the implementation of common initiatives with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso, as well as with business leaders and representatives of prestigious international companies. Simultaneously, the Prime Minister will participate in thematic sessions organized on the sidelines of the Forum.
The Davos World Economic Forum is scheduled to take place from January 15 to 19. Accompanying Prime Minister Recean in the delegation is the Minister of Economic Development and Digitization, Dumitru Alaiba, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Carolina Novac. The Moldovan delegation aims to showcase the country’s commitment to economic development and strengthen international collaborations during this significant global gathering.
