The Presidential Administration provides details about the meeting between the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness, Prince Radu, during their visit to Chișinău.
“I discussed with Her Majesty the situation in the Republic of Moldova and our successes on the path to European integration. I appreciate, as always, the significant and unconditional support of Romania,” declared the president.
Moreover, the Sandu acknowledged the support of the Romanian Royal Family for their openness towards the Republic of Moldova.
“I conveyed our thanks to Her Majesty for promoting the interests of the Republic of Moldova in European capitals, advocating for our country’s European integration in discussions with European officials and members of the Royal Families.”
The Presidential Administration notes that the Romanian Royal Family supports various projects in education and culture, contributing to the development of bilateral economic relations by encouraging Romanian companies to invest in Moldova.
“Through continuous efforts and support, Moldova will succeed in becoming, in the near future, part of the family of free and developed countries on the European continent,” emphasized Maia Sandu.
