The Moldovan government’s vision for the upcoming period and its foreign assistance priorities for advancing reforms and European integration were revealed during a meeting with Moldova’s development partners. It was reported by the government’s communication department.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean expressed gratitude for the support extended to Moldova in developing key sectors and enhancing living standards. He underscored the government’s ongoing commitment to ensuring peace and security, reforming the justice system, combating corruption, fostering economic growth, and modernizing infrastructure.
“We aim for development support to directly benefit our citizens through every implemented project. Furthermore, our unwavering goal is Moldova’s accession to the European Union – a national endeavor,” stated PM Dorin Recean.

Government’s Secretary General Artur Mija elaborated on the government’s 20 priorities outlined in the We Edify European Moldova National Plan and the National Development Plan 2024-2026. He emphasized the importance of strategic resource planning, predictability, and concerted efforts to build resilient institutions that deliver desired outcomes for citizens and the business environment.
Additionally, participants at the meeting presented the National Plan for Accession to the European Union 2024-2027, identified sector-specific foreign assistance needs, and outlined existing support for Moldova. They also unveiled plans for coordinating foreign assistance, introducing new monitoring mechanisms to ensure project effectiveness, and managing relations with foreign partners.
